How to Proceed?
If you are interested in doing business, invest, buy or partner with one of the Surinamese companies behind the product, download the brochure and contact them.
Visit the Expo at the Embassy
In the Netherlands and Belgium the Surinamese Embassy is happy to welcome you for a visit and arrange a physical or online meeting with you and the Surinamese entrepreneur.
Application Process
The process to potentially get listed in the online Expo is as follows.
- Email your export product image, company logo, english website, english brochure (pdf) to info@discover-suriname.com. Note: A tourism company or online service is also an export product.
- Provide at least 3 client references with email and phone number that can be contacted.
- Provide the associations you are member of (VSB, ASFA, ICT-AS, SHATA, VEAPS, SBV, SURVAM, SJV, AAV, AKMOS, PLIS, etc..)
- Write a motivation as business owner why your company should be listed in the online Expo, how you manage to provide continuous availability and quality of your product and service and what you seek by getting listed. For instance more foreign clients, foreign business partners, foreign investors or foreign trainees.
- Send a box with samples and a box with merchandise free of charge to Discover Suriname in The Netherlands or the embassy in Brussel or The Hague.
- After receiving the above information and items, your application to get listed will be processed, assessed and evaluated.
- Every month the Expo list is updated. When your application is accepted and approved your product and company will be provided on this Expo page. We do not provide any information or communication when your product or company is listed or not.
- Discover Suriname is not responsible for the correctness of the information that you provide of your company or the success of your product and company getting listed on this online Expo.
- Discover Suriname reserves the right to include or exclude a product or company from the Expo list at anytime without information or communication.
